We had to take Brayden to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta ER last night. His breathing and congestion was getting worse and he was starting to wheeze. His belly was also retracting meaning he was struggling to get oxygen. The doctor said that he was in fact wheezing pretty bad but they do not think that it is asthma. They diagnosed him with Bronchiolitis caused from RSV. Not good. They did do a chest x-ray and she said his lungs and heart look good.
He seems to be in good spirits this afternoon so hopefully his medicine is starting to work. He is still coughing and congested but she said it could take up to six days for that to disappear. So it looks like we will be hibernating for a while…

Little Bocephus has been so pitiful, it is hard to put him down I just want to hold him. I hope he gets better soon because it is so hard to see him sick. Mommy has been taking good care of him though so I think he we be better in no time flat.
Poor little guy. I hope that he gets better soon. I bet that was a scary feeling but I'm glad that he is already starting to get better. Keep me updated.
Poor Bubbers. It makes me want to cry...I hate that he is so sick. I know Trent and Cicely have been through it too. You guys try to get some rest.
