Update on Brayden

Well it has been a long week in the Foster home. Since the ER visit on Sunday morning we had to take Brayden back to his pediatrician on Monday because he was getting worse. At his pediatrician they did the RSV test and confirmed that was the cause of his breathing problems. They prescribed a nebulizer with breathing treatments around the clock every 4 hours due to his low oxygen levels. They also prescribed a steroid to help him get over the inflammation in his lungs. Then today we had to take him back to see how he was responding to the treatments. Thank God he is responding really well to the treatments, it has been so hard seeing him so sick. They had told us that depending on how he was responding we may have to bring him in everyday this week but after their assessment of him today they told us unless he regressed he did not have to be seen again until Saturday. He his a strong little boy and has been a real trooper thru all of this. Today was up and down for him, he had moments where he acted like he felt pretty good but this evening he has been acting like he doesn’t feel to well at all. We will keep everyone updated at his progress. We would like to thank all of you, family and friends, for the well wishes.
